Safety Top Priority

With safety a top priority, the system has been designed to completely circumvent the possible health concerns when using greywater. It does not store the water at all, or allow water to be airborne – the two areas for potential problems when using greywater.

Government Requirements & Plumbing Regulations:

• Watermark® license number WMKT21219 and SmartApprovedWatermark™.
• Plumbing regulations in Victoria, NSW and QLD state that any work involving a cut to waste (overflow) from a greywater system must be carried out by a licensed plumber.
• The Greywater Gardener 230™ meets and exceeds all regulations associated with the practice of sound greywater reuse.
• In Victoria and NSW no EPA or council permit is required to install the Greywater Gardener 230™, as the system is classed as a simple household diversion system.
• The Greywater Gardener 230® is recognized by NSW’s Department of Health: www.health.nsw.gov.au.
• Queensland Government’s approved products list: www.lgp.qld.gov.au/.
• Approved for installation in Canberra and the ACT.
• Approvals pending in other states and the NT.
• Basix approved.
